Acworth
Acworth, located in northern Cobb County, is called The Lake City, and for good reason; it is surrounded by Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona. The latter is a phenomenal body of water used for recreation, like boating and fishing. Situated 35 miles north of Atlanta, Acworth is far enough from the capital to enjoy the peace of less populated areas, but is also close enough to enjoy the amenities of big city living, like professional sporting events and fine dining.
Acworth’s Cobblestone public golf course was ranked the best public golf course in Georgia by Golf Digest.
