Midtown

Midtown, an area that adjoins Buckhead and downtown Atlanta, is a vibrant region that houses much of the city’s nightlife. This area is popular with residents who work at Coca-Cola or other major offices in the vicinity and want to avoid metro Atlanta’s traffic.

Midtown is home to attractions like Piedmont Park, the Fox Theatre, the High Museum of Art, and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, sites that have earned Midtown the nickname of the Heart of the Arts. Midtown’s students attend Atlanta Public Schools. Institutions of higher education include Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, and a campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design.
